The Senna movie, which was released in 2010, is filmed in a documentary style and it shows Senna’s life during his 10 year (1984-1994) racing career. It is packed full of racing clips and scenes showing his continued growth throughout his career not only as a racer, but as a human being who constantly was learning and improving.

The film takes us through Senna’s journey from his early years at Toleman and Lotus racing through to his McLaren and finally Williams days. It is a very turbulent journey that shows the good and the bad times that Senna faced, the politics within racing, the rivalries and the lessons learnt from those racing “fights”.
